Equilibrium
If a body under the action of a number of forces is at rest or moving with uniform velocity, it is said to be in equilibrium.

Conditions of equilibrium
There are two conditions of equilibrium.

First condition of equilibrium:

Vector sum of all the forces acting on the object is zero.

Second condition of equilibrium:

The algebaric sum of all the moment of forces acting on an object iz zero. i.e.

Sum of anticlock wise moment of forces = Sum of clock wise moment of forces
